The CWSEC works with local municipalities in Horry and Georgetown Counties to help them satisfy education and public engagement requirements mandated under federal stormwater (EPA Phase II NPDES) regulations.

Decision Makers are local government officials, staff, and anyone whose professional choices affect public resources. Through training and education, the CWSEC helps them understand how their decisions affect the health of coastal waters.
