The group, Stormwater Improvements in Georgetown, will be meeting on February 18th at 10:30 a.m. at the Georgetown County Public Works building, 108 Screven Street, Georgetown SC to continue discussing stormwater improvement projects at Tara Hall. March 2, 2010 “Stormwater Regulations: Is Your Property In Compliance?” Workshop for Property Managers, North Myrtle Beach, SC
Local counties and municipalities are required by the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) to routinely inspect private stormwater systems and prohibit non-stormwater discharges within their jurisdictions. The goal of these inspections is to ensure the stormwater system is property operating, thus preventing flooding and protecting water quality. Join the CWSEC for this free educational seminar on March 2nd at the North Myrtle Beach City hall from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. to learn about the significant role a property manager plays in sustaining stormwater facilities. March 29, 2010 Waccamaw COG Section 208 Water Quality Plan Update Public Meeting, Georgetown, SC
The Waccamaw COG is in the process of updating the Section 208 Water Quality Plan for the Waccamaw Region. Keeping the public informed during this process is a critical component of success. To achieve this, a public meeting has been scheduled for Monday, March 29th at the Waccamaw Regional COG office at 1230 Highmarket Street, Georgetown, SC 29440.
